Morocco (Al-Maghrib) 摩洛哥（日落之地）2019

In fact the region north of Altas Mountains along the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean is very fertile and full of vegetation. The goats are not wild but can be staged to climb trees. Morocco is a constitutional monarchy in North Africa and is a member of the Arab League due to its arabization. Its culture is a blend of Berber(native), Arab, Sephardi Jews, West African and European influences. In 1912, Morocco was divided into French and Spanish protectorates, with an international zone in Tangier. It gained its independence in 1956.

Egypt belongs to Mashriq (means Place of sunrise), the eastern Arab world including Sudan and Arab countries in Middle East. Now they use MENA (Middle East North Africa) to indicate this area. Recent genetic test shows that Berbers live here since 15,000 year ago. This suggests that the processes of "arabization" in the Maghreb was mainly cultural rather than genetic. In fact, all our hotels in his 18-day trip (excludes 2 days in flights) are very good. The food is very good too. With our cost less than $100 a day, not sure how travel agency make money. For 16 days, we almost covered most Moroccan cities and every city is different with many pictures. Each city is posted separately below. Rabat 摩洛哥的首都

Rabat是摩洛哥的首都，全國政治、文化和交通的中心，是一處濱臨大西洋的城市，也是第二大城市，意為“強化之地”，展示了人們可能期待看到的所有精美建築。 觀看了皇宮和Chellah古代遺址，這座城市的歷史可以追溯到迦太基人和腓尼基人。 參觀了Oudaya Kasbah和Hassan塔。 Rabat is the capital city of Morocco and second largest city, which means “Fortified Place” displays all of the fine architecture one might expect to see. Viewed the Royal Palace and the ancient ruins of Chellah, a city that traces its origins to the Carthaginians and Phoenicians. Visited the Oudaya Kasbah and the Hassan Tower.

Tangier 國際和跨文化城市

Tangier 在直布羅陀海峽西面的入口，與大西洋及地中海的交界。有定期渡輪連接西班牙本土最南端的城市Tarifa。 我們參觀了Cap Spartel，Hercules洞穴和Perdicaris Parc，這是一個鬱鬱蔥蔥的自然景觀。 沿著水濱，可欣賞到大西洋和直布羅陀海峽的全景。 Tangier is a fascinating Moroccan city guarding the Strait of Gibraltar. We visited the Cap Spartel, cave of Hercules and Perdicaris Parc, a lush natural landscape. Along the water front, it has panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and Strait of Gibraltar.

The city has served as Europe's gateway to Africa for centuries. Its blend of international and cross-cultural influences is unique in Morocco. The Villa de France Hotel is classic and very nice. Visited the Tangier American Legation, an elegant five-story mansion located in the medina. It is the only American National Historic Landmark outside the U.S. Experienced the atmosphere of the Grand Soco, Tangier’s largest market, as well as the legendary kasbah and its museum.

On way Chefchaouen 藍色的城市

從Tangier出發，向南前往Fez，沿途參觀著名位於Rif山脈的Chefchaouen。 Departed Tangier and headed south to Fez, along the way stopped at the famous Chefchaouen (the blue city), nestled in Morocco’s Rif Mountains.

They brought along the tradition of painting buildings blue to mirror the sky and remind them of God. Afterward, continue to mystical Fez.
